WORKSHOPS

You may have arrived here in search of a workshop that can help you & / or your peers to gain knowledge, learn resources & heal in relation to workplace stress & psychological injury. Whether you are wanting something general (e.g., mental health information & resources) or something more specific (e.g., education & skills regarding people focused leadership), I hope to be able to help.

Workshops aim to provide people with a safe & supportive environment to learn about & connect on topics of relevance & interest. People have the opportunity in a workshop space to learn from & support each other in understanding particular issues / topics.

Best practice adult learning principles, & my training & experience developing & delivering a range of workshops over 15 years, informs my approach. My approach recognises that adult learners bring their own life experience & knowledge to the group process, are self-directed & self-motivated, want to be actively involved in the learning process, & want to know how the material being provided is relevant to their own goals & priorities.

I am a well trained & qualified workshop facilitator, with a wealth of experience across a range of settings including government, not-for-profit, & private organisations. I have facilitated many face-to-face & online workshops in sectors including correctional services (in custody & in the community), family violence services, legal services (including law societies), & emergency services.

Topics of previous workshops have included:

Trauma & the Body, Mental Health & Resilience, Mental Health Resources for COVID-19, Self Care & Healthy Functioning in a Stressful Work Environment, Legislation & Leadership, People Focused Leadership, Equal Opportunity, Protection Against Burnout, Vicarious Trauma & Compassion Fatigue, Having Difficult Conversations, Sensorimotor Resourcing, Mindfulness, Violence Awareness, Anger Management, Addictions, Relationship Skills, Recovery from Sexual Abuse, Family Violence, Anger Management for Men, & Parenting After Separation.

I offer a broad range of workshops, which cater for a variety of needs & can be customised.

My most popular workshops are 'Protection Against Psychological Injury' & 'People Focused Leadership'.
