BACKGROUND
I am an experienced Clinical Counsellor, Psychotherapist, Workshop Facilitator, and Senior Consultant working independently in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia (since 2014).
I am a Level 4 member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA), and a member of the Australian College of Clinical Counsellors (since 2012).
I am a trauma-informed and extensively trained Mental Health Clinician. In addition to my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Behavioural Science and Psychology, my training includes; Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (Levels 1 and 2), Internal Family Systems (Level 1), Gottman Therapy (Level 2), Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples (Externship), and Hakomi Embodied Awareness Relationship Training (HEART).
I started my career working in Forensic Psychology (in adult custody and the community), and have since worked in Youth Justice, Child Protection, Family Violence, and Emergency Services sectors. I have continued to provide counselling, consultancy, and workshops to these sectors, in addition to Mental Health, Insurance and Workers Compensation, and Legal sectors (including private firms and Australian Law Societies). I have also worked as a provider for international Employment Assistance Programs (EAP), and been a professional spokesperson for several major Australian Media outlets.
My experience includes work with people across all ages and demographics, and employees across all levels of organisations (including senior leaders of organisations in Australia and abroad).
Ultimately, I help people to understand and heal from trauma, so they can authentically connect and thrive in their personal and professional lives.
